| I have created a program in VB6 that connects to SQL 7 via ADO. I have this program running on 3 to 4 different machines. The problem I am having is on two PCs its takes at least 5 mins for the program to process the recordset. One machine is a fresh install of Windows with only this program on it. Any ideas what would cause this?Thanks |

| Sorry I guess I should have given a little more info.The server is a HP Netserver with duel Xeons(P3700) w 2 gig of mem running 2000 Server.I had this same problem come up on my development PC. I reformatted and reinstalled Win 98 and the problem went away. This is where it gets frustrating. The new PC I am working on has a fresh install of Win98 and only this program on it but the problem is still there. |
