How to identify metadata tables in database..

Check IsMSShipped Object property:

select 	table_name,
	case objectproperty(object_id(table_name), 'IsMSShipped')
		when 1 then 'Yes'
		else 'No'
	End as MetaDataTable
from information_schema.tables
where table_type = 'BASE TABLE'
