| I have two instances on the server MSSQLSERVER and MSSQLSERVER1would like to connect to MSSQLSERVER1.Can you please help, i am using windows 2003 server/sql server 2005*********************************Unable to connect to server.an error occured while establishing a connection to server.when connecting to sql server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under default settings sql server does not allow remote connections.( provider: named pipes provider, error: 40- could not open a connection to sql server)microsoft sql server error: 2******************************Thank you very much for the information. |

Unable to connect to sql server on my machine
