Hey guys, is there a way to select the output of a stored procedure excecution? or some other workaround to acomplish something like this...

I.E

SELECT * FROM sp_test WHERE col1 = 1

try
set fmtonly on
exec mysp
set fmtonly off

It won't work if temp tables are involved.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.

Thanks for your answer!, I just can't figure out how to filter the sp output.

like if it was a WHERE clause...and I can't hardcode it into the stored procedure because the input params, change the filter fields...
