Trying to debug a stored proc that resides on our dev sql server 2005 machine. I'm running VS2003.

The error message is:

Cannot debug stored procedures because the SQL Server databas is not setup correctly or user does not have permission to execute master.sp_sdidebug. Run SQL Server setup or contact database administrator.

In the old days (sql server 2000) debugging stored procedures was built into the EM. Now, you must use the management studio OR I'm using TOAD for sql server and MGMT Studio. I get this error.

"Cannot debug stored procedures because the SQL Server database is not setup correctly or user does not have permission to execute master.sp_sdidebug. Run SQL Server setup or contact database administrator.

I understand. I can't help you with that, but what is the error you are trying to debug. Maybe we can fix that.

There is no error. I just need to debug some proc's to see the logic that is being used. If anyone has this setup and working correctly let me know. Thanks for answering back X002548 :)
