| Hi AllI have memo field in sql server 2000 and tried to alter it to varchar(250) but it is showing error while execute query on query analyser. If i did it from enterprise manager it is ok. How can I alter memo field to varchar(250) using query.ThanksPradeep |

| You can use CONVERT function to do the conversion from ntext to varchar...but beware, if your data contains unicode characters, you may get strange results. You could use nvarchar to avoid this.Harsh AthalyeIndia."Nothing is Impossible" |
