| if you talking about performance increase . there couple of good practices to follow.1) Any Operations on Database should be done using Stored ProceduresFollow thishttp://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=109642)Create Appropriate Indexes . both Clustered and Non Clustered3) Dont keep your connections in Delphi open .if they are not required furtur.4) Avoid Cursors as they kill performance.5) Most Important is Have a good Database Design.HTH--------------------------------------------------------------Dont Tell God how big your Problem is , Tell the Problem how Big your God is |
