| Has anyone used any profiler tools like….SQL diagnostic manager http://www.idera.com/Products/SQLdm/?S=GWor Quest Central for SQL Server http://www.quest.com/Quest_Central_for_SQL_Server/I’m curious to know if there is a tool out there that could profile performance of a Stored Procedure like Dev Partner does for C++ in respect to time each line/statement of the stored procedureTake a look as to what I mean….http://www.compuware.com/images/screenshots/LG-Perf-Analysis.jpg Thanks. |

| Why not just use the free tool that comes with SQL Server called SQL Profiler? It can profile all transactions going through SQL Server. It can show you each line of code within the stored procedure and how long each took.I've seen both tools in action. We have not purchased either. Check if SQL Profiler can do what you want first before purchasing a third party tool.Tara Kizer |
