Can you please specify if you just want the output of a console in SQL Server management studio (or query analyser) written to a file, or are you building an application or a DTS / SSIS package?

In the query analyzer, goto Tools, Options.
Set Default Results target as results to file and select desired output format. click on ok to save the settings.

Now execute the SP and when the file name is asked, provide a nice file name. That's it !
