Server: Msg 1101, Level 17, State 2, Procedure A_SP_SubPillarType, Line 34
Could not allocate new page for database <DB Name>. There are no more pages available in filegroup PRIMARY. Space can be created by dropping objects, adding additional files, or allowing file growth.

Can anybody tell me what error is this.

thanks in advance,

Mahesh

The error message tells you what the error is and how to fix it.

Your disk is full, or you have a fixed space allocated to your database, and that is now full.

Check the size of the MDF and the LDF files. If the LDF file is massively larger than the MDF your transaction log is not being backed up - come back with that news and we can help you sort that out.

Otherwise delete some data or increase the size allocated to your database, or delete some files from your full disk!

If Automatic Grow File was OFF then there was a limit on the filesize - and as you add data to your database, or perform other actions, the database will grow - and eventually fill the allocated space.

look it into SQL Server Enterprise Manager
in the tree view of DB architecture, right click on the database and select Properties then select the second tab named DATA FILES. u will get there Autometically Grow File check box in File Properties. u can also define file growth
