Hello Experts,
I am connecting to the SQL server as a client.
I am executing few jobs.I do not have the Permission to the Windows server on which SQL server is installed.Just having the permissions to the SQL Server.

How can I get the SQL Agent Service Account through Management Studio?
I don't have the permissions to see the MMC.

Thanks!
Raju

Not sure what you want to do. Find out what the account is?

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.

What can you do?
It sounds like you can only run queries and start jobs?
Can you create jobs?
Can you run xp_cmdshell?

Does xp_cmdshell run under the sql server service account? You will probably find you can do whatever you wish if it does using osql.

It's probably easier to just ask the DBA who administers the system this question.
