how can I schedule a stored procedure in sql server 2000 ?

Put the code on DTS Package and schedule it.

Why bother with a DTS package?

Just add a job in the SQL Server Agent. In the job step, have it execute the stored procedure.

exec < Procedure name > new job/ command ?

Open up Enterprise Manager and go to SQL Server Agent in Management. Then create a job.

I did that.
I am not clear on where I have to select my stored procedure ?
do I need to write any command manuvally like
exce < procedure name >

EXEC ObjectOwner.ObjectName @Parm1 = SomeValue, @Parm2 = SomeValue
