| I have table which has one datetime field .i want to index that field .this field is not unique .is it possible to index that field.data is inserted datewise .i have to generate reports from this table .query for reports fetch data between two dates and sort it .what kind of indexing is most appropriate for this situation.Thanks d17may |

| If possible, create a clustered index on the datetime fieldcreate clustered index cix_table1 on table1 (field1)otherwise, just drop "clustered" |
