Can we have a group by without an aggregate??
for ex if i have a table
company id year units_jan units_feb...units_dec
qqq 2 2000 66 55........667
4 2000 33 22 21

i want to group it by id but i dont want any aggregate field..
how shall i do this??

GROUP BY requires an aggregate function.

Let's continue this discussion in the other thread that you have. We are responding to you in a very timely fashion, so there is no need to start a new one.
