| Recently I was asked few disadvantages of using stored procedure but could not get any. I would like to know if there is/are any disadvantages of SP? |

if your data changes a lot then you'd have to recompile a sproc a lot because cached query plans aren't optimal for current data.there's also parameter sniffing look here:http://blogs.msdn.com/khen1234/archive/2005/06/02/424228.aspxcan't think of other downsides...Go with the flow & have fun!
