Hi All,

When someone copies text into my forms the " becomes the fancy one in the Times New Roman font. But when I write the value to the page I get a ? instead. How can I work around this?

Thanks,

Xander

Its just possible that it needs Nvarchar to provide a unicode value for it, instead of Varchar, but more likely its getting lost in a sea of CodePages and Fonts that don't support it.

If you don't need to keep it you could replace it with ordinary quotes at the point of data entry, so that they will be stored int eh database, and redisplayed later, in a consistent manner.
