I have defined a recursive cte to find all the versions of a given item. I want to define an outer query to generate a list of items meeting certain criteria. My goal is to generate a single resultset which will contain each selected item followed by all its versions. What's the best way to go about this?

If you want help, you will need to provide information that people can work with:
1. The structure and contents of your tables.
2. The results you hope to get.
3. The code you tried already, and the problems you are having with it.
