| we have qa server and development server both.And the database name is ppsnet, which is same on development server and qa server both.And now the problem is we don't have qa server all the files which used to be on qa server need to be put on the development server.and i tried to attach the database which is ppsnet.mdf and .ldf, because i already have a database with the same name on the server.How can i change the name. i just renamed the file saying ppsnet_data_qa.mdf and ppsnet_log_qa.ldf, SQL server is complaingin saying i already have a database pps_data.mdf.But i renamed it to a different name. how can i fix this problem, Please help.Thank you very much for the information. |
