1 question about rowcount :
if in a SP i set the ROWCOUNT to 10
must i at the end of the SP to set it to 0??
if i donmt do so will it effect all queries in the system that users do>??

If there are select statements after that process that may be affected. It is safe to set it to 0 once the scope is finished

For Sql Server 2K, I still haven't discovered a paging system (i.e. I'm trying to implement paging in my web application using the Asp.Net 2.0 Repeater control). Any ideas ?

In any case, ScottGu's web log shows something interesting using Sql 2005 if you're interested in reading about the new Row_Number() function :
