| Hello allI am trying to extract data into xml format, using FOR XML. I have executed the query outputting in text, grid and saved to a file. The output is not nicely formatted, but when I manually format it, chunks of data is missing as the rows in the output are truncated. Any ideas?Hearty head pats |

| Hi Bex,Just a guess, but could this be related to 'Tools/Options/Results/Maximum characters per column' in Query Analyzer? Is that set to the max of 8000 for you?Ryan Randallwww.monsoonmalabar.com London-based IT consultancy Solutions are easy. Understanding the problem, now, that's the hard part. |
