hey guys i need help on
setting up [check contraints] on a [table] to a [view]

[table A] [views]
x int ----------> x int
y int

All the contraint which are applicable on the table are also present on view..

What are you trying to do ??

If Debugging is the process of removing Bugs then i Guess programming should be process of Adding them.

what i mean is i want to relate table with views. it this possible..
i had created a view named [Subscribers View] and i want that view to
relate on a table named as [table Accounts].

I found no option in my sql 2000 diagram designer. thanks for the reply

i dont think you can link view to the table..

you can link to the table on which the view is created

Not sure whether you can use sub quries in the Check Contraint.. just try and if not working then you always attach the trigger during the inserting..

i am working on a very huge database. using triggers i think may slow the operation.
what else can you suggest other than triggers?
