| I have an sql statement which works very well with english. It works also to display hebrew. The problem is if I pass hebrew in the where clause like where first_name= and the name in hebrew then I get an empty recordset even though a record exists.Any ideas on what I can do to get around this? |

| You don't say how you're running the query, but it sounds like the name your checking for is in a literal string in the SQL. If so, it's probably that you need to put an N before the quotes to tell SQL Server that it's a Unicode string literal. Like this:WHERE first_name = N'David' |
