from tbl
where ' ' + fld + ' ' like '% data %'

but what about "Improve Data."
You can remove the space delimiter but then
"Improve bedataring security"
(can't think of a word with data in it).

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
