insert AnotherTable
select ....
from ATable

The manipulation is in the select.
It's difficult to give a more detailed suggestion from the info you have given.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.

To do this daily, put that command into the command window of a SQL job. Use the Enterprise Manager to create a new job and you can put any SQL statement you want into a job step's command.
