I want to create a rule that checks whether user entered a valid email address or not can you please help me

In google do a sesarch for
validate email address tsql

or something similar.

Hi pggokcen, Welcome to SQL Team!

In my experience you are going to have a difficult job checking an Email address in SQL.

It would be better to check it in your application, preferably by doing an MX lookup.

If you want to bulk-check Email addresses in an existing table I do have a routine that uses a regular expression via a COM object, but I would not advise it for a production server.
