| How do I find out WHAT got updated on an update trigger?Specifically, we have an on/off flag that keeps getting tripped, but we cannot figure out what is doing it. I have an update trigger on the table so I know what machine is updating, username, etc... But I'm not sure how to find out what is getting updated in the table itself.Thanks. |

| The deleted trigger table has the before image of the row. The inserted trigger table has the after image of the row. You can use these tables to determine what got updated. Or you can check each column via the UPDATE(column) option to see what got updated or COLUMNS_UPDATED() to see which columns got updated.Or you could use SQL Profiler.Tara Kizeraka tduggan |
