when i am wroking with asp and want to insert/update into a column defined as 1 bit
do i need to do
col1bit=1
or
col1bit=true

bitcolumn = 1 Should work fine.

@col1bit tinyint=2

Ok first of all please clarify that what datatype you are using in SQL Server bit or tinyint?

Post the DDL of table. If the column is of tinyint datatype you cannt assign the value 'True' to it
