Hello.

Is it possible for a DTS to call an asp page? I currently have a page which produces a report, this report is accessed by our users though our site. Recently someone has decided that scheduling these reports and sending them out attached to an email would be great. I would like to use the DTS to run the scheduled reports, but all the code for my reports is on the ASP page. I do not want to have two copies of the code. Would it be possible for the the DTS to run an asp page and return a status saying if the page caused an error?

Does anyone have any ideas for what I can do?

You could probably schedule the page using the Windows Scheduler, couldn't you?

Maybe a few lines of ASP that "scrape" the actual page in question ... which would cause it to be triggered, at least.
