| a view is supposed to provide restriction by defining which columns can be selected,remove the columns from the definition to restrict, otherwise use sproc and/or udf to select the allowable columnsHTH--------------------keeping it simple... |

You can grant permissions on columns in tables or views:grant select ( COL_1, COL_2, ... )on MyViewto MyRole, MyUser CODO ERGO SUM |
