dilip writes "I am trying to connect to a SQL server on other machine on the network using follwing Visual FoxPro Command:

ConnectString="'Driver={SQL Server};Server=192.168.1.13;Address=192.168.1.13,1433;Network=DBMSSOCN;Database=MyDatabase;Uid=UserName;Pwd=Password"

ConnectionHandle = SQLSTRINGCONNECT(&ConnectString)

It gives following error:
Connection Failed.
Sql State 01000.
Sql Server error 10061
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server driver][TCP/IP sockets]ConnectionOpen(Connect()).
Connection failed.
Sql State 08001
SQL Server error 17
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server driver][TCP/IP sockets]SQL Server do not exist or access denied.

I tried using sql server name instead od IP addrress in Server= parameter in connection string. it gives same error.

Can anyone help me in this?"
