How can I create a linked server or DTS to our Exchange Servers Global Address Book?

I can do this in MS Access but I'm having trouble in SQL Server.

I used the books on line example and it did not work.
My Network admin thinks this method does not work for Exchange 2003 BOL does mention Exchange 2000 but I am not sure if this is the cause of the problem.

Any assistance would be very helpful as I have to validate 130,000 email addresses hosted on our exchange server but can be updated via a website.
I am concerned database changes have occured and the code in the front end "ASP" did not run.
