| Hi When I open a query analyzer window and I type use finance_db(lower case) I get the following error:"Could not locate entry in sysdatabases for database 'finance_db'. No entry found with that name. Make sure that the name is entered correctly."It is in the sysdatabases as FINANCE_DB.So there is some kind of case sensitivity going on .I applied SQL 2000 SP4 last night and this must have changed a setting.Any advice? |

| So ... if you type use FINANCE_DB it works? And it used to work OK with lower case? Its a bit scary if SP4 did this to you! so perhaps its something else.Do you have a case sensitive server anyway, and "finance_db" used to be in lower case and something has now changed that to upper case in sysdatabases?Kristen |
