| Hi Everyone,I have a bit of an odd query to put together, not sure what to call what I am doing. I want a query to bring back a fictional blank result (preferably not NULL, just blank space) in a report. So in addition to actual data, I want a column of blank results. Why would I want to do this? Because...I have a web-based report app, where I create SQL queries and they show up on a web page, and users can export to Excel. This particular report is for users to tell us what they want us to do with the users: keep them, chuck them, not sure? So the users would download the excel file, mark it up and email or fax it back to us. So I need a blank column in the Excel download for users to do this. Yes I realize they could simply insert their own column, but these are not the most tech savvy of users. My apologies if this has already been covered elsewhere. TIAJohn |

| And if you want something other than Null, you can just put that in the literal portion, so you could put in '_________________' as [Action to Take] and you'll get a column labeled Action to Take with one blank line per row.---------------------------EmeraldCityDomains.com |
