I perform a new MSDE install OK, giving a strong sa password. I can login using Trusted authentication and the original login I was using for the install - as you might expect - but I can't login using sa which i suppose is not trusted. If you have an NT login called sa, would it be trusted?Anyway, I change to "Mixed Authentication" thru the registry, but I still can't login using sa. I've tried three installs and I'm getting the same results. Am I missing something? |

Sorry! Cancel that, I think I found the answer - I was using a semi-colon in the pwd, i think it was breaking up the connect string. I got it working now. |
