Hello,
I have share folder: "Share_Folder".
By using extended stored procedures 'xp_getnetname' and 'xp_fileexist'
I can find out if some Share Folder exists on particular computer or not. But I would like to know on which drive this folder is placed (C:, or D:, or ...).
Is there any extended stored procedure with this purpose, or is there some other way to get that information.

You should handle this in your presentation layer as they are undocumentated sps

I don't have Front End application. I want to write stored procedure and to make scheduled job. Only T-Sql. So I am interesting is there any way to find name of drive if I know folder name or file name.
