Hi ,

I have twoTables. 1>tblSchedule and 2>tblActive.
tblSchedule has the predefined times events. Typical record of tblSchedule is like:

EventID EventDateTime Description
---------------------------------------
1 06/24/05 9:15 B'Day
2 06/24/05 10:15 Party

Now I want that every record from tblSchedule needs to be automatically transfered on its date and time to the tblActive. The tblActive has the same structure as of tblSchedule.

How this can be done. Pls suggest...

I do not think he needs a trigger because it sounds like he wants this to happen whenever a certain date \ time condition occurs. I might schedule a job that polls these fields ever so often.

Please backup all of your databases including master, msdb and model on a regular basis. I am tired of telling people they are screwed. The job you save may be your own.

I am available for consulting work. Just email me though the forum.
