Hi,
I read an article about embedding MSDE into installation package at http://www.gotdotnet.com but it says "install SQL Server in MSDE mode". What does that mean, how can I install it in MSDE mode? I need merge modules be installed..

MSDE is a separate edition of sql server. It probably means install that.
Look at the editions on the ms site.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.

OK, the setup build gave an error of "unable to find dependencies: SQLBASE.msm." and I thought I've done something wrong. No, the problem is not in myself. It's about the merge module SQLBASE.msm. When I check it in VS to know which DLLs it contains, I saw nothing. It contains no DLL. Could someone explain it to me?
Or if you know which DLLs it contains, could you write them?
