hey all,

i have done this before just cant remember where i got the info from again


if i want to find the actual size of the database?

so say its got 20 gig of space drop half cols should be 50% full how do i find outs "acutal size" not allocated size again?

you should also run DBCC UPDATESUAGE to update the space usage metrics in the sysindexes table.

Look in BOL for more details.
