Well no need to repost, got a pda, sync'ing to a database via gprs, get 28549 The row update or insert cannot be reapplied due to an integrity violation. Not applicable SSCE_M_FAILEDRETRIES want to find what the offending table / data is in the subset of data this particular user would get. therefore would know what filter to remove from the replication script!

SqlShaun,
http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=45933
This was a nicely written, easy to understand response. How come you can't use that same level of eloquence to post your own questions? I have no idea what you are asking.

maybe you just have a problem with referential integrity (like the error states). A little googling finds this:

Schema: Violation of Referential Integrity

SQL Server CE handles most referential integrity violations by reattempting to apply the row. If the row sent from the SQL Server CE Subscriber cannot be applied at the SQL Server Publisher, the following error is returned. This error is usually caused by the violation of a self-reference on a table.

Source: Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Windows CE Edition

Native Error: 28549

HR: 80040E2F

Description: Run

Param = 0

Param = 0

Param = 0

Param =

Param =

Param =

To correct this error, remove the violation by updating or deleting the row that violates integrity at the Subscriber.

Seems pretty straightforward to me.

Where are the SQL Experts?

After the cocktail party, the super-model impregnation program and optimising the petabyte analysis cube at the Petagon, I rushed straight here... Am I late?

My business partner lived in a region that supported similar policies, and he was miffed that his taxes paid for it. So I Googled for that and found that "Leicester City Council" have a similar policy ... Honestly!

I think no-one has a clue what I am talking about as no-one has an answer. Sending me articles from google is not the solution, as you dont even know what you are reading, but think it is a solution to my problem. I am looking for a person that has experience with this sort of issues, not someone that thinks they can help or try be smart. However I do appreciate your attempts. If there is anyone out there, who uses SQL CE 2.0 on the PDA, please respond if you are familiar with integrity violations and how to solve them. error code 28549 I suspect I will not be hearing from anyone. Goodday!

This is a free forum and the people on here answer all kinds of questions and give advice or pointers as to get to the solutions (right or wrong - thats what this forum is all about).

Given your criteria above, my advice is PAY someone or find the answer yourself!!

And given your attitude, yes i would say you are right you probably wont be hearing from anyone
