| Hi all,Is it possible to run a query, or something, to select just the first two characters of a field??I have a varchar field with 6 characters, but i just want the first 2. |

| select left(fld,2)from tbl==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
