| Hi, is there a way you can reset the Identity field that is set to auto-number. After deleting entries, it still picks up the next number from the deleted previous number. I would like to "reset" to 1 again. ??? |

DBCC CHECKIDENT('TableName', RESEED, 1)Truncate table will also restart the identity.Go with the flow & have fun! Else fight the flow  |
