Hello!

I have a business user that has MSDE installed, and requires some rows to be added to a specific table. The instructions call for the use of Enterprise Manager to perform this task, however SQL Server is not installed on the server.

My questions:
1) Would there be issues in installing the client onto the server in order to utilize Enterprise Manager?
2)If so, will this install display the applicable database and tables?
3)Is there another means to add applicable rows to a table, as the Query Analyzer tool is not added either?

Any assistance (specific recommendations) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I think that you are supposed to use OSQL to do these sort of things with MSDE. There are also freely available versions of QA and Enterprise Manager that will connect to MSDE.

I'd fire up google and try to find a free EM.
