Hello all,
Great forum site in here. I am interested in talking to somebody regarding the framework for the application I need developed. I have the data sets mapped out and the work flow mapped out. Now I need to talk to somebody to see how much (time, resources) will it take to get the application developed. I am having a very hard time finding any Infopath forums, so I thought I would try my luck with a SQL forum.

The computers will be running MS Win Xp. There will clusters of networked nodes and each cluster would be connected to the other over the internet. I dont know if a dedicated VPN is required or not. All access points need to run only Infopath to have real time access to data, input/modify data or print reports on the same. There will have to be some sort of level access control as well. The system's biggest requirement is scalability. Whether it be 1 node or 100, the software should be able to handle it. Obviously the hardware requirements will go up.

Look forward to replies/feedback.
Regards.

Have you gone here yet?

http://msdn.microsoft.com/office/understanding/infopath/default.aspx

There's also a public newsgroup for Infopath:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.infopath

That's probably the best place to get an answer for your question.
