In Oracle it is possible to do the following "CREATE table tablename as SELECT * FROM ...", does SQL Server have similar functionality ? What I am trying to do is create a a temporary table which is made up of an identity column together with a subset of the columns in another table. Before you ask, I don't know what the other table is going to be when I create the temporary one so I can't hard code it. Thanks in advance, Adam Brunt
