I have a stored procedure to logon users, users logon with their email and pass, I cannot understand why i get a syntax error!
Here is the stored procedure code:

CREATE PROCEDURE [sp_Logon]
@email VARCHAR(50),
@pass NVARCHAR(50)
AS

IF
EXISTS(SELECT id FROM TB_Sites where email=@email AND password=@pass)

BEGIN
SELECT 'True'
END
ELSE
BEGIN
SELECT 'False'
END

I call the procedure from ASP.
It works fine if i do not enter the . (period), but if i enter a mail (which has a period) i get this

Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80040E14)[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]
Line 1: Incorrect syntax near '.'.

Any suggestions are highly welcome
