| How do you guys feel about not having any foregn key constraints in a "denormalized" table (ref: http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=38202). Wount they just slow things down? | Why would you think that NOT having foriegn key constraints would slow things down? Surely INSERT and UPDATE statements ought to be faster without constraints. And I don't think it has an impact of SELECT statements...with your indexes in place, it should fly.OS |
