| in T-SQL that works the same as Replace(expression, find, replacewith[, start[, count[, compare]]]) in VBScript? I want to replace the occurence of a string only from a specified starting point until so many characters. |

| You might have to build your own function to accomplish all that.Look up string functions in BOL. REPLACE and STUFF come close to what you want, give them a shot.-ec |
