I use Visio Enterprise Architect version for my ERDs. We used to use ERwin, but since we've got MSDN licenses, we decided to just use Visio. I don't know of any resources though for tutorials. When I run into a problem, I just take a look at the help. What specific points do you need help on?

Tara most excellent snowboard pic :) I ride a Burton Draguun 159. Cannot wait for winter to get here (Buffalo)No mountains but not to bad. Anyways, I was having issues with the DB model in trying to actualy use my ODBC connection to update the actual DB I modeled on. I found out after awhile that its only available in enterprise architect ver like you stated above. I don't really see the point in modeling in visio 2003 without the use of being able to extract DDL, seems like you could spend alot of time doing the modeling in visio pro and not actually be able to do anything useful with it is what i'm trying to say.

Yep, that's correct. And Visio Enterprise Architect only is available with MS Visual Studio .NET 2003 Enterprise Architect Edition. You can't purchase it or download it separately. It took me a bit to find that out. So if you don't have it, don't waste your time on any other Visio editions as creation of DDL is not available.
