Have to agree with X on this one but don't let that discourage you from getting the MCDBA cert. The cert is good in the fact that you will achieve alot and learn alot if doing the proper training (Home sql server lab) even better would be production env etc to get the cert and not taking any shortcuts for the exam (Dumps etc). I thought that once I got my MCSE that i'd be all set but hard truth is there a dime a dozen and real world exp is everything in my opinion. I only have 2 and half years real world and got layed off and am not having luck finding work in networking field so i'm more so doing the cert path like you. I', hoping it gets me that extra edge but by no means would I consider myself a DBA just because I have the cert (MCDBA)

It costs about $125 per exam

Need to pass 3 and 1 elective

That's 500...

Now you want a study course so you don't have to retake them...

How much are they....

I had follow the moreless the same path which i am giving you.
Readout MS press book, look at some dumps website and study good guides. i prepared from smartcert . net study guide. i hope this path will help you out.
