Pallavi writes "The stored proc fires a select and gets data into a cursor (eg. all emp IDs)
now i want to use the data retrieved from this cursor to fetch data into another cursor (Details for all empIds)
i.e :The Ouput of 1 cursor is to be used in the where clause of another"

Buy a SQL Book. The Guru's Guide to Transact-SQL or Teach Yourself Transact-SQL in 21 days would be a good place to start. You don't want to use cursors this way. It will be sloooooooooooooooow!!!!!!!
